When I was in high school, I was really thinking to go to a university and take up a good course. Visayas Sate University (VSU) was the only university that came into my mind. I was thinking that VSU is the only university that is near to my residence and offering plenty and good course. VSU was a known university in our school since it is near and many of the graduates of our school went to this university. At my senior year, a representative of VSU who is a graduate of our school also went to our school and said good things about VSU. He said that VSU is really a good school to got to because they have high quality of education, professional teachers and staffs, fresh milieu and most of all they produce good graduates that top the board exams. His words and everything he said was really inviting and pleasing to us students. And so I told my parents about it. My parents was also pleased and fascinated in VSU.

When I graduated, without hesitating I chose VSU. Together with my friends, we enrolled at VSU with different courses. Some chose to live in dorm but I did not because my parents didn't allow me. I chose to take up Bachelor of Secondary Education. My first day of class in VSU was such a nice experience although it's a little bit boring because all my classmates were stranger to me. As the time passed by, I and my classmates got to know each other and became friends. Everyday was a nice day for me although it's a little bit tiring. There were such nice, happy, lonely, tiring and embarrassing experiences that I had encountered in VSU. Everyday I wake up as early as 4:30 am to prepare and in order for me not to miss the bus and arrive the class early or on time. Sometimes my class ends very late this makes me nervous because I might not ride the last trip. For instance, when I had to ask permission from my professor if I can go home because it's getting late and I might miss the last trip of the bus. Luckily, my professor granted me.And so I had to walk alone from DMPS to the highway. Imagine! I was walking alone at the dark because there were no lights in the pathways. Take note I was just walking not running or something. It's very scary because there were hearsays that there were ghosts at DLABS but still I had to be brave in order to ride the bus. Fortunately, I was able to arrive on the highway and able to ride the bus. Such a very scary experience but i am proud of myself because I had set aside my fears and overcome it!! There were also times that I am alone and lonely especially at vacant hours because all my classmates go into their respective dorms and I was left alone and bored because I can't go home on vacant hours ( such a waste of money!).. The walking from department to department is very tiring especially when we need to hurry and run because we were already late for the next subject and very especially when I was wearing heels.( such a very tiring day!). During exam week was such a burden because almost all subjects are very hard to understand.(Duh! such a dull girl.) There were also moments that I was happy and having fun. When we have summer class, we stole mangoes since there were lots of mangoes hanging on the way. We also went outing a couple of times and I really had fun with those moments. Those happy and other moments were very fun. I really had fun messing around!!!
Those moments were really worth remembering. They were really a great part of my life. They are very remarkable. I thank God and my parents for letting me go in this university where I experienced fun and sorrows. VSU is such a nice place where you can experience everything.
